Lao Gan Ma Pork Fried Rice

One of the best things about this Lao Gan Ma Garlic Pork Fried Rice is its wonderful flavors. Every bite makes you crave for more. It tastes super comforting with excellent textures. I hope this Pork Fried Rice will become your new favorite comfort food.

Lao Gan Ma is my number one Chinese Spicy Sauce. I have used it to create several recipes. It goes perfectly with rice and noodles. Some of my friends love to add this chili sauce in almost every meal.

Lao Gan Ma Pork Fried Rice

HOW TO MAKE THIS LAO GAN MA GARLIC PORK FRIED RICE

1. Cook the Rice – Cook the Jasmine Rice on medium high โ€“ medium โ€“ low for about 15 minutes until the rice is well cooked. Transfer the cooked rice to a large bowl and set aside to let it cool down.
2. Fry the Pork – In a wok, heat the Vegetable Oil over high heat. Add the Ground Pork and spread it out. Allow to cook until golden and crusty. Then break up the pork and add in Garlic and Onion.
3. Cook the veggies – Stir-fry for about 1 minute and add in the Carrots, keep stirring for another minute or two until the Onions are softened.
4. Assemble the dish – Add in Lao Gan Ma Crispy Chili Oil and continue to stir and combine well. Add in the cooked Jasmine Rice. Then add in Light Soy Sauce, Oyster Sauce, Dark Soy Sauce, and Sugar. Mix well. Add in chopped Green Onions and combine thoroughly.
5. Ready to serve – Transfer to serving bowls. Top with Fried Eggs to serve. Garnish with more chopped Green Onions and some Sesame Seeds. Ready to enjoy!

Haini’s Tips

1. Remember to always rinse the rice 2-3 times to eliminate extra starch before cooking.
2. When frying the pork, it is important to let it sear for a few minutes before breaking up the pork. The pork should get nicely golden and crunchy.
3. When frying the rice, itโ€™s better to keep your heat at medium-high and keep stirring.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups cooked Jasmine Rice or 1 cup uncooked Jasmine Rice
  • 300 g Ground Pork
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 6 Garlic Cloves, chopped
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 1 cup Carrots, diced
  • 3 tbsp Lao Gan Ma Crispy Chili Oil
  • 2 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tsp Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 3 Green Onions, chopped
  • 2 fried Eggs
  • some Sesame Seeds for Garnish

Instructions
