This Tasty Shrimp, Mango, and Walnut Salad is colorful, light, flavorful, and easy to make! It is absolutely healthy and a great choice for your diet! You can serve this for breakfast, lunch or as an appetizer for dinner.
Mango
It is very important to use a mango that is ripe. Ripe Mangoes provide the best taste to the Salad. Do not use under-ripe Mangoes because they taste bitter and it’s just not the right taste.
Shrimp
In all my recipes I prefer to use large-size deveined shrimp. Cook the shrimp before cutting into large pieces. You can also check out my Healthy Sauteed Shrimp and Broccoli with Garlic Sauce recipe.
Walnuts
Walnuts are a great ingredient in many salads. In this recipe, I am using walnuts that are nicely chopped. If you like slightly toasted walnuts, you can also give it a try!
Fresh Dill
It’s always the best to try to use Fresh Dill in this recipe! The taste is just simply better! Only use dried dill when you have no fresh dill available. Otherwise, always use the fresh dill!
Other Vegetables
In this salad, I am also using cucumber and red onion. The cucumber needs to be deseeded. You can do it easily with just a knife or a spoon with sharp edges. Both cucumber and red onion are finely sliced.
