TOFU

As the Tofu needs to be marinated and slightly fried in Oil, I recommend that you use the less fragile Firm or Extra Firm Tofu. I used Extra Firm Tofu for this recipe. As I live in Scandinavia, I love a Swedish brand named Yipin. But I also recommend 365 Whole Food brand. Marination is one of the most important steps for making this recipe. It immerse great flavors and beautiful colors to the Tofu.

STIR-FRY SAUCE

The Stir-Fry Sauce is made out of Vegetable Stock – which I used Vegetable Bouillon and water, Chinese Cooking Wine, Hoisin Sauce, Light and Dark Soy Sauce, Sesame Oil, and Cornstarch. The taste is both savoury and sweet.
