Beef Broccoli Lo Mein

Vis lidt kærlighed:

Lo Mein (“tossed noodles”) is one of the most popular take-out dishes in Chinese restaurants worldwide. Perhaps many of you have enjoyed it? I think so! My recipe for Beef Broccoli Lo Mein combines the tasty Beef Lo Mein with another top favorite, Beef Broccoli! The combination of these two makes a beautiful and delicious dish.

This Lo Mein has well-balanced savory, sweet and spicy flavors. It provides different textures with its ultra-tender beef, crunchy broccoli, and chewy spaghetti noodles. Every bite is sensational to bite or slurp. Chinese cooks reach for Egg Noodles when making Lo Mein, but, as I often do, fusion ideas flow into this recipe and I like the way Spaghetti noodles work for this recipe.

THE BEEF

You can pick Sirloin Steak or Ribeye or my favorite, Flank. Cut into thin slices or strips to get the maximum result from the marinade.

THE BROCCOLI

I use a medium-large Broccoli. In this recipe, I will teach you how to cook Broccoli perfectly in order to maintain its optimum crunchiness.

Hainis tips

You can add more fresh vegetables as you like. I recommend strips of Carrot, slices of Onion, or slices of Bell Pepper. Also, I love to add a good pinch or two of Chili Flakes to get the spicy kick I like.
It is important to marinate the beef for the best flavor possible.
